An der ursprünglichen Stelle des Deichdurchlasses in der Wasserstadt steht eine Sandsteinsäule mit den Hochwassermarken aus den Jahren 2002 und 1954. Demnach war hier im August 2002 der höchste Hochwasserstand.
Der dahintergelegene Ortsteil Waldersee stand bei diesem Hochwasser komplett unter Wasser.

At the original point of the dike pass in the Wasserstadt is a sandstone column with the high water markers from the years 2002 and 1954. According to this, in August 2002 was the highest flood level.
The suburb of Waldersee was completely submerged during this flood.
