In Boston's Roslindale neighborhood, within Adams Park, is this monument honoring the men and women who served in World War I, Korean War, or Vietnam War.

Adams Park is the common at the center of the village, where Washington Street, Cummins Highway, and South Street come together at a rotary.

The monument is located at the southwest end of the park, in a grassy area shaded by trees.

The object is made of light stone and has a tall section flanked by shorter wall sections. The taller section has an image of a woman in a robe, with her left hand encircling a sword, and her right holding probably an olive branch. Below the figure are two designs - one a shield and the other an anchor. Between them are the years 1917 - 1918. There are three stars at the top. The walls have the following inscriptions:

"Roslindale honors its victorious sons and daughters in World War I in the glory of their youth we shall remember them

Roslindale remembers the men and women who served in Korea and Vietnam"

The inscription font is different between the two wars, and the date range in the tall section indicates that the memorial was originally for World War I.
