Die Wasserkuppe im hessischen Landkreis Fulda mit Gipfellage im Gebiet von Gersfeld ist mit 950 m ü. NHN der höchste Berg der Rhön und zugleich die höchste Erhebung in Hessen.
Auf dem Berg, der überregional als „Wiege des Segelflugs“ bekannt ist, entspringt die Fulda; weitere 30 Bäche haben hier ihren Ursprung. Von der Gipfelregion fällt der Blick über die Rhönlandschaft und bei guter Sicht unter anderem bis zu Hohem Meißner, Rothaargebirge und Taunus.
