Nejstarší zmínku o sedlištském kostele je možno klást do roku 1447. Kostel je roubenou jednolodní stavbou orientovaná podélne k hlavní ose.
Sedlištský kostel obklopuje hrbitov s dreveným plotem se šindelovou stríškou. Toto místo posledního odpocinku je poprvé písemne doloženo k roku 1652.
