The North Grosvenordale Mill, also known as Mill No. 2, was built in
1872. Built of brick , it is four stories tall, has a shallow-pitched hip roof. The North Grosvenordale Mill specialized in fine cottons and became one of the largest textile mills in Connecticut.

The mill was originally powered by 3 turbines spun by water diverted from the French River to under mill and reentered the French River at the opposite side of the mill.
Current Status: Ruin

Current Use: Abandoned
