Braisher Rest Area is designated seasonal, however we were there in mid April and it was functional. There are two picnic tables available surrounded by forest. The easiest access is traveling north with one entrance that circles around to the facilities. If travelling south you still can access with a easy left turn. It is accessible for large vehicle.
Interestingly, there is an old log cabin not far from one of the picnic tables. Of course K had to investigate, be aware the roof is caving in so proceed with caution.
