Minna und Hermann heirateten 1914 und hatten 3 gemeinsame Kinder (Martin, Betty, Charlotte).
1938 wurde Herrmann Steinbock für 6 Wochen nach Buchenwald inhaftiert.
1939 wurde ihr Miethaus "arisiert" 1942 wurden Hermann, Minna und Charlotte in das Ghetto nach Warschau deportiert. Betty und Martin gelang die Emigrierung nach Palestina.
