From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 1.6 miles. Turn left onto FR15 and continue about 0.4 miles. Turn right onto FR1500-030, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and travel about 0.2 mile. Bear left on FR1500-035 and continue about 0.1 mile to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 3" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 2"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is N, about 60' from the centerline of FR1500-035, near a NE fence corner post. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign mounted on a T-post which bears W, 29" from the corner. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. There is also a LOCATION POSTER on the tree in the SW quadrant.
