Gertrude was born on 3 August 1886. She married Fred R. Keiser (1878-1964), who was 8 years her senior. The FindAGrave entries only record one child, Fred who, sadly, did not last out the year of his birth, 1921.

Her husband passed away in 1964 at 86 years old. Gertrude continued on another 24 years, passing away on 29 October 1986, a couple of months past reaching 100 years old.
