Founded with 10 members in 1840, Bethel Presbyterian is the oldest continuing Presbyterian Church in Texas. Today Bethel is a loving, caring church, welcoming everyone and encouraging all to work together to live in Christ. We desire to make our church attractive to anyone seeking a place of belonging, believing that our acceptance and love for others must be unconditional and generous if we ar to truly “honor one another” above ourselves. We exist to amplify what binds us as one - the love of God.

One of oldest in Texas, was organized June 13, 1840. Land and original church given by Mrs. J.H. Bell. New church acquired, 1932.
