From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 2.6 miles. Turn left onto Crossroads Road, continue for about 0.3 miles and park. Walk N, about 320' to T15S R9E S1 C 1/4 COR, WAYMARK WMVMRH, then W about 0.5 mile to the present quarter corner.
Type of survey mark: 3" brass cap on steel pipe in a mound of stones; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a driven length of 5/8" rebar at the corner and a rotted fence post with LAND SURVEY MONUMENT and NO SHOOTING/RESIDENTAL AREA signs. Also PROPERTY BOUNDARY signs on a U-post which bears E, 33" distant and on a T-post which bears SW, 17" from the corner. Found two ponderosa pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags. There is also a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the one in the SW quadrant.

private property SE from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land This corner was set as the INITIAL POINT for Crossroads Subdivision First Addition by James E. Bussard PLS OR-599 in 1972, Plat Book 11, p. 43
