EN: The Marienkirche of Rhina is located north of the main street on a slightly elevated terrain with a wide staircase in front of the entrance area. The building is in a simple, modern style; a large rose window over the entrance is the only striking element of the south facade. The 21-meter high free-standing bell tower reminds of an Italian Campanile.

Rhina used to belong to the parish of the neighboring Murg, also when it was incorporated in Laufenburg in 1933. The old desire for a church of their own was only fulfilled when Rhina switched to the parish of Laufenburg in 1953. The foundation stone was laid in 1953 and it was consecrated in 1956.

DE: Die Marienkirche von Rhina befindet sich nördlich der Hauptstrasse auf einem leicht erhöhten Gelände mit einer breiten Treppe vor dem Eingangsbereich. Das Gebäude ist in einem schlichten, modernen Stil, eine grosse Fensterrose über den Eingang ist das einzige auffällige Element der Südfassade. Der 21 Meter hohe, freistehende Glockenturm erinnert an einen italienischen Campanile.

Rhina gehörte lange zur Pfarrei des benachbarten Murg, auch noch als es 1933 in Laufenburg eingemeindet wurde. Der alte Wunsch nach einer eigenen Kirche wurde aber erst erfüllt als Rhina 1953 auch kirchlich zur Pfarrei Laufenburg wechselte. Die Grunsteinlegung erfolgte 1953, 1956 wurde die Kirche eingeweiht.
