This trail is located about 150 feet away from the nearby Island trailhead. This trailhead is located just north of the visitor center, along the rim of the canyon. While the Island trailhead is a paved trail on the south side (back end) of the visitor center. In order to go to both trails, you'll need to walk through the visitor center. This one is accessible without going through the visitor center first.
