This bench is located outside the Tillsonburg Senior Centre in Tillsonburg, Ontario. It's location is apt as it is dedicated to the International Year of Older Persons. The International Year of Older Persons was an initiative by the U.N. in 1999 to promote awareness for the aging populations around the world. Canada in particular really promoted the event with a special dollar coin and stamp.
This bench was placed by the government of Ontario as "A Province For All Ages".
