From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 2.3 miles. Walk E from T15S R9E S1 R10E S6 1/4 COR, WAYMARK WMVHPJ, for 0.5 miles to the present corner.

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The center quarter corner is near a SE fence corner post. There are two T-posts each with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs. One bears W, 33" from the corner, and the other bears N, 44" distant. Found a live standing ponderosa pine with a partly healed blaze and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside. The other tree, with a yellow BEARING TREE tag, is down.
What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land SW of the corner, else private property; see also Survey CS00500 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
