I say "is setting up shop" above because they are not completely set up as yet. Work began on the renovations to their building in 2016, followed by the installation of the brewing equipment. They look to have all the equipment in place, including two
HUGE brewing vats and about a zillion empty cans. Right now they are brewing in small quantities, enough to supply the in house consumption. Soon, though, they'll be in full operation and the smell of hops and yeast will permeate the air for miles around.
The customer area appears to be complete, with a sit down area by the bar with seating for about 30 at tables and another 10 to 12 at the bar. To the south of that area is another bar, seating another 12 to 15 patrons. In front of that bar is a bocce pit - not full size, but a bocce pit nonetheless.
We're not sure how many different brews they plan to have on tap, but the tap is set up to handle about fifteen separate brews. At present they only have five house brewed beers, Silver City Lager, Silver City Ice, Trail Ale, IPA (???) and Scotch Ale. They'll also serve you a glass of wine and food is available. No menu is posted yet, but it is on
their website.
They have 4 ounce samples available and when they're fully operational they will be offering guided tours. They've already had their grand opening, so they'll be in full swing shortly.
