The port is one of the largest on the Cote D'azur to the east of the bay of Garavan.
The fountain has a central bowl with a large central jet of water. Much smaller jets spray from the edge of the bowl. There are two pairs of dolphins leaping opposite each other. The dolphins themselves have water jets exiting from their open mouths.
