Tenby WW1 War Memorial - A granite pillar was unveiled in 1921 to commemorate local people who had died in the First World War. The names of those who died in the Second World War were added later. Located in the walled Town of Tenby, South Wales.

Tenby WW1 War Memorial - A 20 feet tall granite pillar with white marble inscription & name plaques, the monument stands on a 3 step octagonal base. Located on the corner of South Parade & upper Park Rd, in Trafalgar War Memorial Gardens, Tenby, Pembrokeshire, South West Wales.
There are over 244 names on the monument, including Louise Sinnatt of Tenby died in a Japanese concentration camp in Sumatra in 1945, leaving her son Anthony, aged six, to fend for himself in the camp. He died two months later. (Photo of plaque included in gallery) Source: (

The inscription reads:
