The Dwelling Place is a active church in Cranbrook and provides the spiritual needs of their membership. Before Sunday services there is a prayer meeting and everyone is welcome. They also provide a free supper every Monday between 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm downstairs in the Friendship Hall and Bible study every Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
The Dwelling Place is listed under Cranbrook Churches as a non-denomitional place of worship.
The Dwelling Place is impressive with it white spire on the roof, It actually is quite large located in two separate buildings with an adjoining entrance. Looking at google map street view there was a large stain glass window below the spire that is no longer there.
The landscaping and building are well maintained and located in nice residential area of Cranbrook.

The Dwelling Place, or Cranbrook Christian Centre as it has been known, has been an active church community, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Cranbrook area since 1984.
We have been referred to as "a very loving church" and we work very hard to make it that way. Anyone can preach the Gospel but it takes real commitment to put it into action - and being doers of God's Word is what makes the difference between just being a church in a community and our being a family made up of many families and friends.
