This is for William Souter Fisher, a 'Founding Father' of the Anglican Church at Bendolba, north of Dungog, NSW. [1817-1903]

The plaque is secured to a steep-angled grey granite plinth, under the grey granite bench, that is facing the Churchyard Cemetery, and it reads:
"This Memorial commemorates the Centenary of our Found Father
William Souter Fisher
16.12.1817 to 20.10.1903
who arrived in Australia 24 October,1838, settled at "Summer Hill" Munni, and there, with his wife Jessie (nee McLennan) raised a large family.
Presented by their Descendants who gathered at this site on 28th September, 2003."
