This bridge is another crossing of the Kootenay River by Highway 95 on its trek from Cranbrook to Golden. Known as the Canal Flats Bridge, it is just a kilometre south of the town of Canal Flats.

As were pretty much all bridges along the highway, this one was given a benchmark in 1984. 84C271 is monumented in the usual location, on the river side of an abutment, this one the southeast abutment on the east side of the highway, south end of the bridge. The benchmark is near the outer end of the wing wall, less than a foot above ground.
