The Blacksmith's shop is situated away from the main quarry and adjacent to the old machine shop where the cut granite was "dressed". cut to size and in some instances polished before being transported all over the world.
The blacksmiths shop chimney, in the corner of the building, with internal evidence of the forge and the still blackened flue.
