Here we have a truss bridge just across the Kootenay River from the little community of Skookumchuck. It is known as the Springbrook Bridge.

Including the steel girder approaches the bridge is about 370 feet in length. The truss span alone is about 220 feet. 84C256 is monumented near the centre of the bottom half of the east face of the south abutment at the west end of the bridge, facing the river. It is about one foot above ground level.
