As the plaque reads:

Saskatchewan History & Folklore Society Inc

Ogema Grandstand

This marker is dedicated to the Ogema area pioneers who founded the Agricultural Society in 1914.

From 1920-1924, prize monies from Standing Crop, Summer-Fallow, Seed-Drilling and Garden Competitions were returned to the society for the rink and Grandstand Building Fund.

On Fair Days the Grandstand was filled to capacity to view horse racing and ball games. It is still in current use . We believe it is unique for a community of this size,

Erected 1994 by the Ogema Agricultural Society on its 80th Anniversary.
