KTTX-FM side is branded "12 In a Row Country K-TEX 106", but the official call letters are KTTX-FM. KTTX broadcasts on the 106.1 frequency not in Brenham, but in College Station, 40 miles away. The tower on top of the studio relays the broadcast to a transmitter in Burleson county to reach the larger (and more lucrative) Bryan-College Station market.
