The bridge in question carries the CPR line from the marshalling yards and the Columbia Valley to the south over the Kicking Horse River just east of its confluence with the Columbia. 99C043 is monumented at the south end of the southeast concrete retaining wall, just off the south end of the bridge.
The bridge, double tracked, is actually two steel girder bridges, each of about 500 feet in length, built side by side. Fisher Road, in its loop around the airport, crosses the tracks immediately south of 99C043.
