Doreen Lorna Hunter was born on May 28, 1933 and passed away on February 11, 2010.

"Doreen was born in Chaplin and raised on the Bale farmstead at Halvorgate, Saskatchewan. She married Douglas Hunter on November 25, 1950 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. During their marriage they lived in several places throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C. raising their children and enjoying their grandchildren.

Doreen was known for her strong work ethic at each of the various places she worked throughout her years. Doreen?s talents were many, an avid crafter, bingo player and infamous campfire builder. An outstanding woman with a huge heart and enormous love for her family. It is certain that everyone she touched will hold a special place in their heart for her."
