EN: This stone fountain stands at a fire place in the forest north-east of Brislach. The basin is dated 1856 at the front side. The enclosing area consists of rough stone blocks from the surrounding area, which are overgrown with moss.
A traditional village fountain basin in the middle of the forest does not really fit into the year 1856. Therefore I suspect that it is quite a bit younger and an old stone trough was reused.
DE: Dieser Steinbrunnen steht bei einer Feuerstelle im Wald nordöstlich von Brislach. Der Steintrog ist an der Vorderseite mit 1856 datiert. Die Umfassung besteht aus rohen Steinböcken aus der Umgebung, die mmit Moos überwachsen sind.
Ein tradiotioneller Dorfbrunnentrog mitten im Wald passt eigentlich nicht so ins Jahr 1856. Deshalb vermute ich, dass er einiges jünger ist und ein alter Brunnentrog wiederverwendet wurde.
