Preserving a piece of Historic Anderson

BY SUMMER HAUSMANN, Staff writer | Posted Apr 30, 2008

"The Steinhagen Log Cabin, which was built during the 1850's and is a state historical marker, is also a must-see. It was moved to its present location behind the Becker-Steinhagen Museum in 1965 and is operated as a museum, containing frontier furnishings, family heirlooms, antiques, dishes and clothing of a bygone era."
