From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 4.2 miles. Turn right onto FR1012, the Cold Springs Cutoff, continue about 2.0 miles and park. From T14S R9E S23 24 25 26 COR, WAYMARK WMAYFF, hike cross-county 1.0 miles due W to the present section corner.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 4"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes and the usual array of metal signs. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U-post which bears N, 36" distant. There are also PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals on a Carsonite post which bears E, 5'6" distant.


What property is this mark defining?:
Pumpkin Pine, LLC property NE of the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 14 South, Range 9 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 12, 1966
