[...]"Oft gehen die Neugierigen am Grab zunächst vorbei, weil sie nach prächtigerem Ausschau halten, weil sie ein Gewölbe, einen Marmorsarkophag, irgendein bedeutendes Zeichen erwartet hatten. Aber das gibt es nicht. Es gibt noch nicht einmal genügend Platz, um diskret gezückte Kameras in ausreichenden Abstand zum Objekt zu bringen. Der Ruhm des Toten ist hier nicht zu Stein und Prunk geworden. Es gibt nur sein Grab und die stille, natürliche Würde dieses Friedhofs. Kein Denkmal könnte sie übertreffen."
