The sundial is atop a stone column that is capped by concrete. It's a fairly generic sundial with an equally generic gnomon, which points to "Time takes all but memories" on the edge of the sundial. Minutes are noted by tick marks around the edge of the sundial, while the hours are noted by Roman numerals just inside of the tick marks.
