From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 1.6 miles. Turn left onto FR15 and continue 1.8 miles to the intersection with FR1510. The corner is on the right, cross-country some distance.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 7"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is N, about 2640' from FR15, at a SW fence corner. Found three ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes and the usual array of metal signs. There is a faded yellow sign on a T-post which bears N, 7'10" from the corner. In addition, there is a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal on a Carsonite post leaning against the fence.


What property is this mark defining?:
Private property NE of the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land; see also Survey CS06495 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office and additionally USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 15 South, Range 9 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 2, 1966 Although this corner is remonumented with a USDI-Bureau of Land Management CADASTRAL SURVEY cap dated 1966, there is a notation on the Land Corner Record which describes it as a 2x36" steel pipe with 3" brass cap set as INITIAL POINT for Crossroads Subdivision Third Addition by James E. Bussard PLS OR-599 in 1974, Plat Book 13, p.37
