EN: This stone cross is located on the edge of the forest west of the Mumpferfluh on the border between Mumpf and Obermumpf.
The cross is about 3.5 meters high and has no inscriptions or decorations, except a year in the base, but this is difficult to decipher. It could be 1863.
The cross looks like sandstone from a distance, but it is a red-painted concrete-like artificial stone.
DE: Dieses Steinkreuz befindet sich am Waldrand westlich der Mumpferfluh an der Grenze zwischen Mumpf und Obermumpf.
Das Kreuz ist etwa 3.5 meter hoch und hat keinerlei Inschriften oder Verzierungen ausser einer Jahreszahl im Sockel, die aber kaum zu entziffern ist. Es könnte 1863 sein.
Das Kreuz sieht von weitem wie Sandstein aus, es ist aber ein rötlich bemalter betonartiger Kunststein.
