The simply formed bluish green door leads into the former private house of Konrand Adenauer, the first Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The house was built in 1937 and is listed in Liste der Baudenkmäler in Bad Honnef.

The wooden door has twelve windows and is provided in the outside with diagonally running steel grids for safety. Each of the windows can be opened separately from the inside.

The "Adenauerhaus" is a public memorial and can be visited during openig hours.
