MW0833 - USC&GS 'MEARS' Reference Mark 2 - Modoc County, CA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey reference mark from 1948 in good condition. The mark is located west of Highway 139 and on top of a small knoll and about 28 feet north of the triangulation station. The mark is located next to a small pine tree that may compromise the station in future years.
