I recovered this California Department of Transportation survey disk from 2004 in good condition. It is an aluminum disk monumented inside a metal sleeve and covered by a metal cover. There are three nearby witness posts to aid in recovery. The NGS coordinates and datasheet description are adequate for station recovery.
