This beautiful village sign was handcrafted and painted by artist Tom Woodruff, a local illustrator for children’s books. In the center of the sign is the iconic sailboat in keeping with the towns prominent and historic marina, two anchors pointing to the name of the village. The picturesque village of Northport has a population of just over 500 residents and is located at the tip of peninsula on Grand Traverse Bay.
