I recovered this California Department of Transpiration metal rod in good condition. It is not listed in the NGS database. It is encased inside a PVC sleeve and under metal cover. There is an orange carsonite witness post near this station for easier recovery. The metal rod is located about 60 feet east of Highway 139 and about six feet north of a dirt road leading east. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this mark.
