This dated stone is located above the entrance of old Town Hall in Waterford, Ontario. Built in 1902, the building served as the town hall for Waterford and Townsend Township.
In the 90s and 00s when the Haldimand and Norfolk counties were merged and then divided, the hall fell out of use and was sold to the Old Town Hall Association on February 15th, 2000. The hall is now used for cultural activities including live music, theatre and art displays.
