On Britton Road, at the entrance of Wiilow Oaks Estates housing addition stands this large clock. In Oklahoma, we often see the black metal "Centennial" clocks around town, but the sight of a "Grandfather Clock" causes a double-take.
The clock stands on a median at the divided entrance to the housing addition. The clock is over twelve feet high, is made of wood, and has a metal flue-type roof. The clock face is glass with Roman numerals. Below the face is a glass panel with a simulated pendulum. The clock stands on a rock base on the median.
It made us smile as we drove by, and we had to turn around.
