I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark from 1940 in good condition although the designation stamping was impossible to decipher since it has been nicked up. It is monumented on top of a concrete semaphore base on the west side the railroad tracks. This BM also appears on a topography map as 'BM 4036.2 J 280'. The NGS datasheet is adequate for station recovery although the semaphore pole has been removed and there is no longer any witness post. My more accurate coordinates will place you very close to this mark.
