Built in 1893 and moved approximately 400 ft. from its original location, the original ornate façade was attached, thus replicating the appearance of the original servant's house.

Its diminutive size ultimately gave rise to its nickname, "the Midget House". While no midgets have ever lived here, spurious accounts abound.
