Yin's Restaurant has been a staple of Waterford since 1971, in fact, a new neighbourhood subdivision has been named Yin's. In 2017 they expanded to Port Dover with their second location. Founded in 1971 by siblings Bill Yu and Mei Yin, they ran the restaurant as a family business until 2015 when it was sold to to a group led by Jennifer Chang and Kevin Lee (visit link) .

The restaurant serves a variety of food including Chow Mein, Chop Suey, Egg Foo Young, Moo Goo Guy Pan, Lo Mein, Hamburgers, French fries and Salads!
