This is the site of Norfolk County's First Renewable Energy Generation. Located on top of the Norfolk County Fire Station 3 in Waterford, Ontario, is a set of solar panels. Installed in February 2016 by Essex Energy Corporation, the panels are part of the Rooftop Solar Project, the first in the county.
These panels will generate $22,036 in revenue through it's connection to the Ontario power grid, generating 11,000 kwh per year and saving 5.82 tonnes of carbon emissions per year.
