Ann Reading married Benjamin Huckell in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, in 1843. They started their family in Buckinghamshire but were in Ottawa, Canada, by the time of the 1861 census. The Huckell children included Thomas, Sarah Ann (1846-1930), William, John (1849-1926, buried Beechwood), Elizabeth (1850-1919) and Lucy (1853-1929).
