From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 5.5 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 4"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is S, about 630' distant from ORE242, and at the NW corner of a barbed-wire fence, 13" N from a wooden post. A Carsonite post with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal bears SSE, 18" from the corner. Found two ponderosa pines with healed blazes. One has an old-style BEARING TREE shield, and the other a yellow BEARING TREE tag. They both have ATTENTION signs on the backsides.

Hap Taylor & Sons property SE, else Deschutes National Forest land; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 14 South, Range 9 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 12, 1966
