Translation: "Pont and Bonnefont district - Named in reference to a source, "font" in Provençal, this district was originally made of gardens where fruit and vegetables were grown. The lord of Ollioules, himself, possessed his own. To reach it, one crossed the Reppe by a bridge of medieval origin. It was at that time a bridge in the back of a donkey as shown by the foundations of stones. Beside, a large dam "resclave" allows the irrigation canal to cross the Reppe to feed the gardens and the mills located downstream."
