Aretha Frankenstein's is an independent restaurant in Chattanooga's north side at the corner of Tremont St and Orr St. The location is a remodeled house in a neighborhood but has been made into a eatery.
Aretha's serves up breakfast at any time and features a 1 inch fat pancake and waffle, a variety of omelets, breakfast burritos, and much more. They also serve a lunch and dinner menu and have a large variety of specialty beers available.
The restaurant stands out from any other by the decor. With a name with Frankenstein in it, it has a collection of horror related items and decorations. From a skeleton on a skateboard hanging from the ceiling to dozens of framed cereal boxes on the ceiling, this place is like none other. Also interesting about the place is the tables themselves. A few are specialty tables, including a sit down Ms. Pac Man machine!
