Cirencester Courthouse was built as an integral part of the Police Station, on its eastern end. It served as a Magistrates' Court for many years, but when this was discontinued, it was used one week a month as an overflow for Gloucester Crown Court. This use came to an end in 2011, and it is now redundant.
